Too Hot To Handle in Malta. From the Screen to the Island.

When couples from Netflix's Too Hot To Handle flew into Malta, Koala created the campaign film. A week of island experiences, turned into content built to travel.

They stepped off the plane with millions of followers between them. By sunrise the next day they were on the water, and by evening the island was on every one of their feeds. Some campaigns buy attention. This one landed it on a flight from the world's biggest streaming platform.

When couples from Netflix's global hit Too Hot To Handle came to Malta for a week of experiences, Koala was entrusted with the campaign film. The idea was simple and sharp: take faces the world already watches, give them an island that performs on camera, and let the audience follow.

Concept. Screen to island to feed. Reality stars carry a built in audience that no media buy can replicate, and Malta offers what reality content needs most: variety within reach. The campaign was built to move from our lens to their channels, professional film on one side, authentic UGC on the other, each amplifying the other.

The week. We structured seven days like an itinerary the viewer could steal. Early mornings on the water. Adventure across an island that packs cliffs, harbours and hidden coves into a half hour drive. Mediterranean cuisine eaten the way it should be, long and loud. Evenings that carried the energy from golden hour into the night. Every experience chosen to prove the same point: Malta fits more living into a week than most destinations fit into a season.

Film. Our cameras followed the week with a travel series energy. Fast, warm, personality first, the island always in frame. The film cuts the couples' chemistry against Malta's scenery, built for the platforms where their audiences live and edited so every sequence works as a standalone clip.

The multiplier. Alongside the film, the couples' own content carried Malta to millions organically. Screen fame brought the audience. The island gave them something worth posting. The campaign turned a week of experiences into weeks of reach.

One island. Seven days. An audience of millions, already watching.
