BBC Concert Orchestra in Malta. Every Note, Captured.

When the BBC Concert Orchestra came to Malta, Koala was behind every lens. Film, photography and social content built to make one night travel far beyond the hall.

The lights dim. A hush settles over the Granaries. Somewhere between the first bow lift and the final ovation, there are a thousand moments worth keeping. Our job was to catch them all.

A coordinated team working across film, photography and social media, moving through the venue with a plan for every movement of the programme.

Film that listens. Our video coverage was built around the music itself. Multi angle cinematography followed the conductor's hands, the soloists' entrances and the audience's reactions, cut into highlight films designed for broadcast quality and built for replay value.

Photography with intent. Rather than shooting everything and hoping, we mapped the evening in advance. Key repertoire moments, backstage preparation, the architecture of the venue and the faces in the crowd. The result is a photographic record that feels composed, not collected.

Social that moved at the speed of the encore. The best moments of the night were edited and published while the applause was still ringing. Short form clips, stories and stills went live during and immediately after the performance, carrying the event to audiences far beyond the hall and giving the orchestra's visit a digital afterlife measured in weeks, not hours.

One night of music. A body of content that keeps performing.
